Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our North Park clinic in San Diego, CA. The role provides comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population, with a Monday–Friday schedule and standard clinic duties.

Requirements include two years of outpatient primary care experience, an active CA medical license, a DEA certificate, and current CPR/BLS (or ACLS).

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in outpatient primary care.
• Current unrestricted license to practice in California (CA).
• DEA license.
• Current American Heart Association CPR (BLS), or ACLS.
• Second language fluency desired, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and caring medical services to a diverse patient population.
• Perform routine exams, common procedures and screenings.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and point-of-care tests.
• Evaluate patients with complex problems and refer to appropriate specialists.
• Complete all required documentation in accordance with departmental standards.
• Participate in Clinical Outcomes Program and ensure compliance with EMR requirements.
