Job summary

CHS Recruiting is seeking a Physician - Geriatric Primary Care to deliver high-quality geriatric care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term care settings. The role offers autonomy with remote clinical support and a dedicated administrative team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

The position requires Tennessee medical license, DEA, and board certification in geriatrics or internal/family medicine, with at least 3 years of relevant practice and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Tennessee medical license and DEA required.
• Board certification in Internal/Family Medicine or Geriatrics.
• Experience supervising APPs (nurse practitioners/physician assistants).
• Minimum of 3+ years clinical practice in geriatrics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality complex geriatric care in SNF and long-term care settings.
• Engage with facility leadership, other providers, patients, and families.
• Supervise nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants.
• Audit documentation for supervised providers monthly.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers as needed.
• Participate in on-call schedule and required trainings.
