Job summary

Healthcare Recruiters International is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric care to older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings in Martinsville, Virginia.

This full-time, on-site role offers a base salary range of $100,000 to $140,000 with productivity bonuses, no nights or weekends, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia PMHNP credentials.
• DEA registration or willingness to obtain.
• New graduates welcome; experienced clinicians encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments and mental status exams.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral and neurocognitive conditions.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Address behavioral and safety concerns; collaborate with care teams.
• Provide brief interventions and coordinate with other providers.
