Qualifications

• Must hold PMHNP degree and Virginia licensure for prescribing
• Board-certified PMHNP in psychiatric mental health with active credentials
• Experience in geriatrics or post-acute care preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously within an interdisciplinary team

Responsabilités

• Perform psychiatric assessments and mental health screenings
• Provide talk therapy and medication management
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing and primary care teams
• Complete timely EMR documentation and care plans
• Coordinate referrals to therapy or specialists
• Educate patients, families and staff on mental health options
