Job summary

CHE Behavioral is seeking a licensed mental health professional (Psychiatrist NP) to provide in-person psychotherapy and behavioral health services in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living communities in California. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with autonomy and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with facility teams to improve residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted CA license as NP
• Master's degree or doctoral degree in an applicable discipline
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable providing services in nursing home and long-term care settings

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person psychotherapy and behavioral health services within Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living communities
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
• Treat depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief, trauma, and other behavioral health concerns common among geriatric populations
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes
• Build therapeutic relationships with residents and their families
