Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C to join our team in Buffalo, NY, delivering high-quality behavioral health care to older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF).

The role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support with onsite patient care and remote documentation, typically 3–4 days per week, Monday–Friday, with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
• All experience levels welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
