The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric-focused team in a skilled nursing facility in New York. The PTA will assist therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain and promote overall wellness, with independence emphasized in treatment plans.

Candidates must hold a valid PTA license in the state of practice and be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a license in the state of practice (PTA).
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Help promote mobility, independence and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
