Job summary

The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric care team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will hold a state PTA license, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and help residents improve mobility and wellness.

SNF experience is preferred but not required; salary is highly competitive and includes insurance and fringe benefits.

• Must possess PTA license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide independent evaluation and treatment within a skilled nursing setting.
