Job summary

Mercy invites applications for a Physical Therapist to assess and design individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. Under supervision, you will supervise rehabilitation technicians and oversee PT assistants in line with state practice acts.

Requirements include a current PT license, a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor/Master/Doctorate), and current BLS certification. Preferred candidates have 6 months to 1 year of geriatric care experience.

Qualifications

• Current state license of Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred experience: six months to one year in adult and geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of rehabilitation technicians and oversight of PT assistants as per state practice acts.
• Adhere to departmental policies, standards of treatment, and organizational values.
