Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist who under supervision performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients in a physical therapy setting. The role provides direct supervision to patients and oversees rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Requires a Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, along with current licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure and BLS certification are required.
• Preferred candidates have 6 months to 1 year of experience with adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and oversee rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
