Job summary

Mercy seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and design individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients. Under Therapy Leadership, you will supervise patients and rehab staff, while adhering to Mercy Service Standards and state practice acts.

You should hold a current Physical Therapy license, a PT degree, and a BLS certification. Six months to one year of experience is preferred. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Work under Therapy Leadership and Mercy Service Standards.
