Job summary

Mercy Health in Missouri is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess adult and geriatric patients and to design objective, comprehensive treatment plans under the supervision of Therapy Leadership. You will supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in line with state practice acts, maintain Mercy Service Standards, and collaborate with a caring, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Education: PT degree (BS/MS/DPT) or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in state of Missouri.
• BLS certification; current before caring for patients independently.
• Preferred experience: 6 months to 1 year in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy Service Standards.
