Job summary

Renewal Rehab seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support seniors in skilled nursing and post-acute care settings. In this on-site role, you will deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance functional independence, safety, and quality of life.

Working closely with Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary team, you will implement treatment plans, complete timely documentation, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with licensure (as applicable).
• Experience applying evidence-based interventions in geriatric settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance functional independence, safety and quality of life for seniors.
• Implement treatment plans in collaboration with Occupational Therapists.
• Complete timely documentation of sessions and progress notes.
• Educate patients and families about therapies and therapy goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
