Apploi seeks a dedicated occupational therapy professional to provide rehabilitative services for residents in a nursing facility in Oklahoma City. You will assess needs, develop therapy plans, and support residents' functional goals.

Under supervision, you will train staff, document progress, and ensure confidentiality while safeguarding residents from neglect. A BS in Occupational Therapy and current state license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current license to practice in the state is required.
• Certification in identified areas of specialization, if applicable, and demonstrated competency.

Responsabilités

• Tests and evaluates residents for therapy and support needs.
• Plans, organizes, and conducts occupational therapy programs to help residents regain functioning.
• Treats, educates, and counsels residents and families about disabilities.
• Monitors resident progress and maintains records with confidentiality.
• Trains medical and nursing personnel in occupational therapy techniques.
• Conducts functional assessments of residents and assesses home/vocational needs.
• Protects residents from neglect, mistreatment, and abuse.
• Supervises COTA(s) per state guidelines.
