Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• BS in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current license and competency in area of specialization, if applicable.
• Strong communication and patience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts occupational therapy programs to help residents regain function.
• Tests and evaluates residents for therapy and support needs.
• Treats, educates, and counsels residents and families on disabilities.
• Monitors resident progress and maintains records with confidentiality.
• Supervises COTA(s) per state guidelines.
• Conducts and documents functional assessments for home/vocational needs.
