Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation in Southfield, MI is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for PRN/Contingent work at the Lakeland Center.

Under supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will provide treatment per plan, document appropriately, and participate in care conferences. Requirements include an accredited OTA program and Michigan licensure; strong patient care and mobility handling; pay is $35/hour.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan

Responsibilities

• Provide OTA treatments in line with the treatment plan under OT supervision.
• Document to maintain medical records, continuity of care, and reimbursement accuracy.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for effective total patient care.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient/family instruction.
• Supervise students and volunteers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
