Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide bedside and clinic-based OT services to geriatric post-acute patients in the Lakeland and Evergreen SNFs in Southfield, MI and Royal Oak, MI. The position involves delivering treatment per plan under supervision, documenting care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited OTA program.
• Michigan state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide OTA treatments per established treatment plan.
• Document medical records accurately and maintain continuity of care.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient/family instruction.
• Supervise students and volunteers; delegate tasks to staff.
• Represent department and participate in care conferences.
