Job summary

Vierra Falls Church, a Vierra Communities property, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house skilled nursing team in Falls Church, VA. This PRN, non-exempt role offers competitive pay and benefits.

You will provide direct patient care, administer treatment plans under physician directions, document patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver resident-centered care. Must have a valid license and geriatric care experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license and registration.
• Experience with long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and compassion for the elderly.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in HRIS and timekeeping software.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional abilities, and rehabilitation potential.
• Administer a treatment program under physician direction.
• Document patient progress and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
