Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• One year experience in occupational therapy and experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Florida licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatments per the plan of care within OT state practice act.
• Implements discharge planning and coordinates home exercise program and follow-up care.
• Attends IDT meetings and provides updates on patient progress.
• Supervises rehab aides and students delivering services.
• Coordinates with other disciplines regarding participant concerns and activity adaptations.
