Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) in Ames, IA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide adult/geriatric occupational therapy services. You will help patients improve independence, mobility, safety and quality of life through patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in the state of practice or license eligible

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety and overall quality of life
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility and adaptive techniques
• Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming and meal preparation
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs
