Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in CA.
• Minimum 2 years geriatric field experience.
• BLS/CPR certification and pass national/state exams.
• Excellent oral and written communication and computer skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Occupational Therapist, implements occupational therapy treatments for PACE-enrolled patients.
• Implements individualized plan of care to improve independence and function.
• Guide patients and caregivers in using adaptive devices and activities.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify goals as needed.
• Record and sign treatments in the health record.
• Ensure services are provided in a therapeutic setting and adhere to regulations.
• Assist in ensuring required equipment and supplies are available.
• Maintain compliance with governing regulations and participate in staff training.
