Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join Presbyterian Village Austell, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Austell, GA. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule (up to 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with one rotating weekend day per month) and a state salary range from $24 to $38 per hour.

As part of a diverse therapy team, you will deliver OT treatments under supervision, help maximize residents’ independence, document progress, and contribute

Qualifications

• Current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the practicing state.
• Interest in geriatrics with ability to contribute to wellness programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to maximize residents' independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, resident progress, and outcomes.
• Communicate resident status and treatment recommendations with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with screenings, treatment interventions, and discharge planning activities.
• Assist with wellness classes and therapeutic group programming.
• Participate in campus-wide wellness initiatives and resident activities.
• Promote healthy aging and resident participation through engaging programs.
