Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must hold a valid OT license and registration for the state of practice.
• Experience supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants; geriatric care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine rehabilitation needs and potential for recovery.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals based on patient capacity and physician direction.
• Set realistic goals, document patient status, and educate patients and families in therapy methods.
• Supervise and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care and documentation compliant with confidentiality.
