Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions seeks Rehabilitation Flex Team Members to provide clinical services to residents, including skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation. The role emphasizes building trust with residents and families while supporting independence.

You will work under an occupational therapist, implement treatment plans, and contribute to a collaborative care team in a diverse, welcoming setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant state license; CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal & written communication, active listening, and social/cultural perceptiveness.
• Relationship building, compassionate instruction, and genuine appreciation for individuality and diverse life experiences.
• Critical thinking, sound judgment, and decision-making.
• Time management and service orientation.
• Collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical services under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, working with the broader care team.
• Follows treatment plans and teaches techniques for mobility and muscle limbering.
• Evaluates living skills and capabilities of residents, understanding individual personalities and goals.
• Assists in selecting activities and developing treatment plans to promote independence.
• Builds authentic, trust-based relationships with residents and families.
• Monitors and records patient progress and suggests changes to plans.
• Instructs residents and families on in-home programs and adaptive equipment use.
• Performs routine tasks like stretches and coaching residents in using equipment.
• Uses equipment like lifts to safely move residents.
• Documents patient care per facility procedures.
• Collaborates with team members to foster an inclusive workplace.
