Job summary

HiredFirst in Lancaster, MA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Start ASAP; schedule Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:00; compensation $1900–$1944 per week.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment and discharge plans, deliver therapy, document services promptly, and supervise COTAs while collaborating with the care team.

Must hold MOT/OTD and MA OT license; strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have MOT/OTD (Master of Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy).
• Active state OT license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility guidelines.
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment and discharge plans, and deliver therapy to improve independence in daily living skills.
• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders/referrals.
• Develop and update individualized treatment/discharge plans.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Supervise COTAs per practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
