UNIT SUMMARY : Hall 2 is 50-bed long-term care / memory care unit that offers resident daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. Hall 2 promotes a home-like environment and strives to make the life of its resident meaningful, safe and comfortable. Staff members must be compassionate, motivated and dedicated to helping others in need.
JOB SUMMARY : Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
REQUIREMENTS : Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma : GED equivalent or High School certificate. Less than one year experience required. Hoyer lift and specialty beds; Basic medical equipment (scale, thermometer, etc.); Communication devices; Synquest and basic computer skills. GNA licensure and BLS CPR certification with American Heart Association (AHA) required. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
