UNIT SUMMARY: Hall 2 is a 50-bed long-term care/memory care unit that offers resident daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. Hall 2 promotes a home-like environment and strives to make the life of its residents meaningful, safe, and comfortable. Staff members must be compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to helping others in need.

JOB SUMMARY: Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

REQUIREMENTS: Entry-level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma, GED equivalent, or High School certificate. Less than one year of experience required. Familiarity with Hoyer lift and specialty beds; basic medical equipment (scale, thermometer, etc.); communication devices; Synquest and basic computer skills. GNA licensure and CPR certification with American Heart Association (AHA) required. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
