Montgomery Village Health Care Center in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a part-time Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) for weekend shifts. You will perform basic patient care under nursing supervision and assist residents with daily activities while maintaining a compassionate, team-oriented approach.

Qualified candidates must be a certified GNA in accordance with state law and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant per state laws.
Ability to provide care appropriate to age-related needs of residents.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Perform duties, such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS OFGeriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)

Must be a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES OF Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.

Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
