Frederick Villa Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to provide residents with daily care related to bathing, grooming, medication, and other ongoing needs under the supervision of senior nursing staff. Our ideal candidate has completed GNA training and combines tact and good communication skills with a commitment to providing quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Maryland State GNA License required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care including bathing, grooming and assistance with medications under supervision.
• Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Communicate needs and changes to senior nursing staff and document care.
