Ellicott City Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team for the 3p to 11p evening shift. You will assist residents with daily care, helping to ensure their comfort, safety, and quality of life in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification in Maryland is required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior long-term care experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Help residents with mobility, transfers and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.

Position Overview

Ellicott City Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our team for the 3p to 11p evening shift. In this role, you will provide essential daily care and support to our residents, helping to ensure their comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff

• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
