Job summary

Ellicott City Healthcare Center in Ellicott City, MD is hiring a compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) for the 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM day shift. You will provide essential daily care, assist with ADLs, monitor residents, and support their comfort and safety.

Requirements include Maryland GNA certification, CPR (or willingness), HS diploma preferred, and strong teamwork. Benefits include competitive pay, health insurance, PTO, and 401(k). Includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Maryland GNA certification is required.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
• Take and record vital signs as assigned
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines

Education
