Job summary

Total Life Inc. is seeking nurse practitioners for an in-person contract role in the Greater Houston area. You will lead longevity days at partner senior living communities, starting with a short educational talk and then one-on-one longevity visits.

You will be trained by our CMO and work with a board-certified geriatrician. Site days are on weekdays, with hours ranging roughly 4 to 8 per day as bookings grow.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted Texas APRN license.
• Must have current national NP board certification.
• Must possess and maintain DEA registration.
• Must be able to practice under a Prescriptive Authority Agreement with a delegating physician in Texas.
• Clinical experience caring for adults 65+ is required.
• Experience with Medicare documentation and E/M coding is required.
• Provide malpractice insurance covering in-person care.
• Comfort presenting to groups and speaking with older adults and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead longevity visits based on a comprehensive geriatric assessment.
• Evaluate residents for weight management as appropriate.
• Coordinate follow-up care with primary care providers.
• Document encounters according to Medicare standards in the EHR.
• Represent Total Life professionally with residents, families and staff.
• Travel to assigned senior living communities in the Greater Houston area.
