CAREGAVE HEALTH CORP is seeking a Geriatric Nurse to care for aging patients, administer medications, and follow care orders. The role requires licensed nursing in the state and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Active, valid nursing license within the state.
• Experience working with an aging population.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to check on each patient assigned, assess well-being and note issues.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Make rounds with physicians as needed and document patient notes.
• Assist other nurses or nurses aides to maintain smooth shift operations.
• Be a positive, supportive presence to aging patients.
