Waldorf Center is seeking a Full-Time Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our caring team in Waldorf, MD. You will work with a Licensed/Registered Nurse to provide efficient nursing care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, transporting patients to therapy and appointments, and implementing care plans as directed by the care team.

• State-approved GNA program completion and current certification required.

Responsibilities

As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) you will work alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse to deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

• Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of patients.
• Transports patient to rehabilitation therapy and accompanies to outside appointments
• Participates in the care planning process and implements care according to care plan.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved GNA program and current certification required
