Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. in Lanham, MD is seeking a part-time GNA for 7am-3pm to assist licensed nurses in delivering high-quality geriatric care.

You will collaborate with the care team, support patient comfort, and participate in care planning to ensure patient and family satisfaction. A state-approved GNA program completion and current certification are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care alongside an RN to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Transport patients to rehabilitation therapy and accompany to outside appointments.

Responsibilities

As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) you will work alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse to deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

• Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of patients.
• Transports patient to rehabilitation therapy and accompanies to outside appointments
• Participates in the care planning process and implements care according to care plan.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved GNA program and current certification required
