Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Brunswick and St. Marys team.

You will work in collaboration with physicians, staff RNs, and other health professionals to deliver high-touch, compassionate care, lead care coordination, and manage patient needs across care settings. The role emphasizes clinical independence within a collaborative framework, with on-call coverage rotating and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree program or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in geriatric, adult or family practice setting.
• Current and unrestricted RN and NP licensure, or PA licensure in state of practice; Board certification by AANP or ANCC in Adult, Family Practice and Geriatrics or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care; CPR.
• Active National Provider Number (NPI) and Medicare provider number.
• Must be eligible to participate in the Medicare program as a provider and registered.
• Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Geriatric, Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree program; long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to perform comprehensive adult/geriatric admission history and physical exam.
• Identify, diagnose and document episodic, acute and chronic disease in adults.
• Recognize conditions that place seniors at risk and coordinate care.
• Pursue continuing education and professional development.
• Reconcile medications and ensure accurate documentation.
• Document needs of clinically complex patients and coordinate with care team.
