Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve the Central Ohio area in a PRN capacity with PTO and flexible hours. This role focuses on autonomous geriatric care across Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Skilled Nursing settings, with potential for full-time expansion as needs grow.

Responsibilities include exams, care planning, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and providing health education to residents, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Master’s in Nursing.
• Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Minimum two years' RN experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and medical history assessments.
• Makes independent decisions on management and treatment.
• Orders, performs, and interprets laboratory tests for screening and diagnosis.
• Prescribes medications and other treatments as appropriate.
• Provides health education and counseling to residents.
• Maintains follow-up and coordinates care with other providers.
• Serves as preceptor for students and collaborates with care teams.
• Monitors care plans and refers to specialists when needed.
