Job summary
Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor, Maine is seeking a full-time geriatric psychiatrist or neuropsychiatrist (MD/DO) to expand our clinical, research, and educational programs with Northern Light Memory and Aging.
Fellowship training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry or geriatric psychiatry is preferred; compensation includes a base salary with comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and opportunities to teach and collaborate with national
Qualifications
- Fellowship training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry or geriatric psychiatry preferred.
- Experience diagnosing and treating Alzheimer's disease and related disorders is valued.
- MD/DO required for clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Expand our clinical, research, and educational programs within Northern Light Memory and Aging.
- Participate in teaching medical students, psychiatry residents, and family medicine residents.
- Engage in research collaborations with partners such as Massachusetts General Hospital and The Jackson Laboratory.
