Job summary

Access Medical Clinic is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within a long-term care facility. The role collaborates with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, patient-centered care aligned with federal and state regulations.

The position is contract-based with a monthly stipend plus a pay-per-visit model, requiring about 4 hours per month for admin duties and weekly

Qualifications

• Must be MD or DO with active state medical license.
• Board certification in geriatric, family or internal medicine.
• Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care.
• Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long-term care facility.
• Collaborate with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care.
• Participate in QAPI and leadership meetings; availability for consultation.
