Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting serving frail or elderly populations.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation to the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake, prepare exam rooms, and assist with vital signs and basic procedures.
• Collect, prep, and process specimens; maintain clean, sterile equipment.
• Support visiting specialists and manage exam room readiness and chart orders in Athena EHR.
• Coordinate calendars, track supplies, and ensure compliance logs in clinic operations.
