Curana Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Palm Harbor, FL.

The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of excellent care to our patients. Facilities Engagement includes coordinating care between patients, residents, and teams; Patient Engagement covers scheduling, outreach, and care coordination; Clinical Functions involve vitals, rooming, and documentation to support

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant with certification current and in good standing.
Experience in geriatric or senior care environment preferred.
Outgoing and compassionate with strong communication and organization.
Proficient using standard office software and patient scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Act as a community liaison between nursing, sales, wellness and leadership.
Coordinate care between specialists, therapy, home health and other services.
Assist with front desk duties, including appointment management and scheduling.
Monthly outreach with residents and families to coordinate care per care plans.
Greet patients and families, take vitals, prep for visits and coordinate after-visit tasks.
Complete diagnostic testing and support quality assurance monitoring.
