Job summary

UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care and clinical support in a geriatric practice. The LVN will work under supervision of a registered nurse or physician to perform procedures, monitor patients, and assist in treatment plans.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a Texas LVN license, and CPR (BLS). This is a full-time, on-site position with regular weekday hours and a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Texas LVN license and CPR (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year related nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, injections, vaccinations and IV fluids as directed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team.
• Record vital signs and maintain patient records in EHR.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians.
• Provide basic nursing care including wound care and dressings.
• Assist with patient intake and health history documentation.
