Job summary
Rockville Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. This on-site role requires NY LPN licensure, is eligible for daily pay, and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and discounts. Shifts are 7AM-3PM with every other weekend required.
The position focuses on geriatric care, independent evaluation and treatment, and staff collaboration in a SNF/long-term care setting.
Qualifications
- Current NY LPN license
- Alternate weekends
Responsibilities
- Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
- Medication Administration, including IVs.
- Taking and recording vital signs.
- Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
- Provide resident and family education.
- Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
- Supervising CNAs
