Job summary
The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens in New York is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our Skilled Nursing facility team. You will provide hands-on resident care, monitor health status, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and CNAs to support optimal outcomes.
Full-time and part-time positions are available. An active NY LPN license is required; shifts include 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm; daily pay offered. Competitive wages and benefits accompany this role. INDLPN
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New York state.
- Experience in geriatric/long-term care settings preferred.
- Capable of independent assessment and basic treatments.
- Ability to educate residents and families about care plans.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, including IVs where trained.
- Take and record vital signs and monitor outcomes.
- Provide resident care and functional therapies to improve well-being.
- Educate residents and families; communicate with physicians and CNAs.
- Supervise CNAs and coordinate care with the health team.
