Job summary

The Echocardiogram Technologist at Sage Health uses high-frequency ultrasound and noninvasive echocardiography testing to produce diagnostic images for geriatric patients. You will follow clinical protocols, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality while contributing to a team that prioritizes excellent outcomes.

Travel to centers within the market is required, with a car allowance provided. The role demands attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers or Ultrasound sonographers.
• ARDMS registered in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) or CCI Echocardiography (RCS).
• Experience working with an electronic health record.
• 3-5 years' experience working in a hospital or other medical facility.
• Must be willing to travel to centers within the market.
• Certification Basic Life Support.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Resourcefulness in problem solving.
• Able to take and follow through with assigned tasks and accountability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, positioning patients and equipment.
• Manage patient expectations and provide exam explanations.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment for diagnostic accuracy.
• Record and interpret measurements, comparing results to clinical norms.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and documentation accuracy.
• Travel to centers within the market as needed (car allowance provided).
• Perform additional duties as assigned
