Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Culinary Service Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, guests, and staff. You will work weekends and holidays with guidance from the Culinary Services Director, ensuring meals align with therapeutic diets and quality standards.

The role emphasizes resident dignity, cost awareness, and teamwork with the interdisciplinary team. Prioritize safety, sanitation, and timely service in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents.
• Qualify for employment after criminal background study per Minnesota DHS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Promote food service standard through cost, quality and quantity controls.
• Provide meal service that meets residents' desires, offering as much choice as possible.
• Support adherence to therapeutic diet orders as directed by the Culinary Services Director and interdisciplinary team.
