Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Service Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, guests, and employees. Under direction from the Culinary Services Director and with the interdisciplinary team, you will help increase resident acceptance of meals and ensure diet orders are followed.

This on-call, on-site role focuses on maintaining food service standards, cost controls, and dignity in dining, while supporting therapeutic dietary needs and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Coordinate with the Culinary Services Director and interdisciplinary team, especially for therapeutic diet orders.
• Promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls while preserving resident dignity.
