Job summary

Checotah Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to lead the dietary staff and oversee food service operations in our LTC facility. This role focuses on meals planning, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in long-term care or food service, a solid understanding of geriatric nutrition, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and training. Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of geriatric nutrition.
• Previous supervisory experience in LTC or food service.
• CDM or CFPP preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus while maintaining budget and stock.
• Adapt meals for special diets and medical needs.
• Enforce strict food safety laws.
• Maintain a clean and functional kitchen and dining area.
• Keep logs for food storage and temperatures.
• Hire, train, and supervise dietary staff.
• Create work schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.
