Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Service Cook for full-time AM/PM shifts. The role involves preparing, serving, and coordinating meals for residents, guests, and staff, with direction from Culinary Services Director and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls; ensure meals meet resident preferences and therapeutic diet orders.
• Provide meal service that preserves the element of personal dignity and offers as much choice as possible.
