Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a full-time position in Modesto, California. You will provide restorative and rehabilitative OT services to geriatric participants at both the center and participants' homes, supporting independence and daily living activities within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• OTA Associate's Degree from an accredited program is REQUIRED.
• Valid California OTA license or proof of license eligibility is REQUIRED.
• Minimum of two years OTA experience with frail/elderly population is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Administer participant treatment programs established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist the Occupational Therapist with vital signs, ROM assessments, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with Rehabilitation team members to implement activities and programs based on individual treatment plans.
• Schedule participant treatments and clinical visits and support billing activities.
• Document occupational therapy interventions per care plans.
• Utilize devices and activities supporting muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function, balance, endurance and ADLs.
• Collaborate with therapists, providers, and other disciplines as part of interdisciplinary care.
• Provide services at the center and in participants' homes.
